Tom has been to check on the chickens that lay the eggs - they are Soil Association certified which means they are of the highest standard - they are housed in a spacious hen house and have 1½ acres in which to roam on wooded slopes just above the river Cothi outside of Brechfa.
There is even a little chicken hospital down in the yard where any bullied hens are nursed back to health.
Tom was so impressed that he wanted to stay and sleep in the hen house too!
